A shopping Haul mostly of Samhuinn goodies from late 2018, with... #WintersSamhuinn #ShoppingHaul #ByRavenmorFox A bit of a ramble from me. I like to take advantage of Halloween sales although the holiday and seasonal tide is actually a Christianized appropriation of a much older Ethnically European custom, tradition and lore. Samhuinn is the tradition which means summers end in Gaelic, marking New Year’s Eve and the beginning of winter – the New Year. Originating in the Northern hemisphere, the dates are set at 31st of October, also finishing autumn. It no sense to mark these seasonal tide based’ traditions at the same dates in the Southern Hemisphere due to our Seasons being opposite to the North as dictated of cosmos and planetary movements. My ancestors built archaeological structures and studied the stars to map the movement of nature and her events in part for survival of the Winter months, amongst other things and some of us were the Druids of old and Ethnically European/Celt society. After all the reason for the seasons are the seasons themselves and are the greatest gift to humanity that my race has shared with the world, although most my folk have no idea these days and have been somewhat lobotomized into religious cults not of their ethnos, severing ties to nature. With all this in mind we in the South are what seem almost deliberate at times to follow calendars not only back to front but also pushing agendas against our own ethnic roots/hence losing our strength. The farce of Halloween is pushed here in October also and without its real meaning or correct version to us Whites of which the tradition is born. All this being said I take advantage of the sales and sometimes if I feel reminisce of the lands I was born on I will connect at the Northern hemisphere dates but will always acknowledge the season turn of the wheel on the land I now call home. The Tide of Winter begins in June with Samhuinn/New Years May the 31st and as one who has Celt ancestry it is part of my blood/birthright to keep this tradition alive. It as always is about blood, one has it or does not and one should always honour the ancestors who started their race regardless of whose one race is. That is the true protection of diversity in which homogenisation and appropriates is anti-diversity.
